The Public Trustee and Guardian (PTG) is committed to giving the community greater access to government information.

Under the new Freedom of Information Act 2016, PTG strives to:

  • Process information requests as quickly as possible
  • Keep improving our processes to protect and provide access to information
  • Use innovative ways to make sure information is available to the entire community

PTG utilises the Justice and Community Safety (JACS) Directorate’s Freedom of Information Officer to respond to any requests made under the Freedom of Information Act.
