If you believe that you are the lawful owner of unclaimed money under the Unclaimed Money Act 1950, you can make a claim.

Search Unclaimed Money

Claimants should note that only amounts greater than $80 may be claimed. An administrative fee of $80 will apply to each approved claim. Where several amounts are aggregated in one claim for the same claimant, one fee will be deducted from the total.

  • Attach certified true copies of all supporting documentation eg certificates, utility bills, dividends, drivers' licence, passport etc.
  • Kindly allow 60 days processing period.

Do I have to complete a claim form for every amount of unclaimed money on your website or can I combine them?

We prefer it if you combine all your unclaimed money amounts on the one claim.

What do you mean by “certified copy”?

A certified copy is a photocopy of an original document, legal or other, which has been certified as being a true copy by a qualified person.
